Free Masterclass: Stop losing money to team miscommunication
A Weekly Journey into Purpose, Leadership, and Whole-Brain Thinking
Chronicle 12: You Were Called. Now What?
July 31, 2026
-----------------------------
You've felt it.
That quiet, persistent nudge that won't leave you alone no matter how busy you stay or how long you ignore it.
You were called.
Not to a perfect version of yourself you haven't become yet. Not after you fix your weaknesses or figure out your life. Not when you finally feel ready.
Now. As you are. With the mind God already gave you.
The Gap Between Called and Walking
Here's where most purpose-driven individuals get stuck.
Not in hearing the call. Not even in believing it.
In the space between knowing and walking.
That space has a name. It's called confidence — not the performative kind that pretends everything is fine, not the arrogant kind that needs no one else, but the rooted, God-given kind that says:
I know who made me. I know how He made me. And I trust that what He placed in me is enough for where He is sending me.
That kind of confidence doesn't come from a title. It doesn't come from applause or accomplishment or finally feeling ready.
It comes from understanding your design so deeply that the opinions of others — however loud — lose their power to define you.
That is what this journey has been about.
What Twelve Weeks Can Do
Over the past twelve weeks we have covered a lot of ground together.
We talked about exhaustion that isn't a faith problem but a design problem. About the words that keep us small and the masks we wear into rooms we were made for. About the danger of surrounding ourselves with sameness and the freedom of understanding our gaps. About pressure that reveals rather than destroys and the difference between surviving and being sent.
Every single one of those conversations pointed to the same truth:
You are not an accident.
You are not a work in progress waiting to become someone else.
You are a specific, intentional, fearfully and wonderfully made design — created for a purpose that only you can fulfill in the way that only you can fulfill it.
What God Says About Walking in Your Calling
Jeremiah 29:11 is perhaps the most quoted verse in Christian circles — and yet most of us haven't fully received it:
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
He knows the plans.
Not hopes. Not approximates. Knows.
Which means before you felt confused, He already had clarity. Before you felt lost, He already had the map. Before you felt unqualified, He had already placed everything you need inside the very way He designed your mind to work.
The call was never the question.
The confidence to walk in it is what we've been building together.
Reflection Questions
As we close this first season sit with these final questions:
Looking back over these twelve weeks — what is the one truth that has shifted something fundamental in how you see yourself and your calling?
What is the one step you have been putting off — the one thing you know God has been nudging you toward — that you are now ready to take?
Write your answers down. Date them. Come back to them in six months and see how far you've walked.
This Week's Action Step
Don't just read this and move on.
Take one concrete step this week toward the calling you've been circling.
Not a perfect step. Not a fully formed plan. Just one step that says to God — and to yourself — I believe what you said about me. And I am ready to walk in it.
That step — however small — is where confidence becomes courage.
And courage is where calling becomes reality.
See you in Season 2.
